Pepper is a smashing pony, handsome and inquistive. Since first arriving with us in 2010 he has lightened in colour from a bay roan to a beautiful silver grey dapple. He wind sucks and is prone to colic so he needs to carefully monitored and recieves Profix to help his degestive and gastric health.
Pepper was rescued in July 2010 in a very emaciated state by a caring horse lover who undoubtedly saved his life. When they unfortunately were no longer able to keep him, CLAS was approached in the late summer.
Pepper was professionally broken in 2011 and has always shown himself to be a willing and inquisitive pony. He was rehomed in 2011 although was returned within the month when his new owners wasn't willing to work with his wind sucking.
He was rehomed again in 2014, 2016 and 2017 before he finally returned to us in 2019. Pepper is an example of a pony that will always have a home at the sanctuary.
