Daisy and Aphia

Aphia and Daisy have returned from grazing and are now looking for someone who could care for them, they are approximately 16 hh and around 15 years old. These stunning ladies adore to be spoilt, being groomed and lounging around and have a lot to love to give. Aphia and Daisy have both have ongoing issues with lameness and will only be rehomed as companion horses at this point in their lives. This lovely pair would love to have somewhere to call their own to live out the rest of their lives where they can be cared for and shown kindness and compassion. If you are interested and feel you have room for Aphia and Daisy

Tansy and Tama

Tansy and Tama are looking for a home, they are both miniature Shetland ponies approximately 10 years of age who have recently been returned to Crosskennan due to no fault of their own. Tansy and Tama are two lovely ladies who would like someone who can handle and groom them on a regular basis and give them the attention they deserve. These two girls due to their size are quite the pair of escape artists so escape proof fencing is a must! They require shelter and space to stretch their legs with very limited grazing as they are prone to putting on weight very quickly. Rehoming offers will only be accepted for this beautiful pair for companion ponies or pets as they are not being rehomed as riding ponies. If you feel you have room in your life for Tansy and Tama.

Missy

Since arriving at the sanctuary Missy has had to learn about people and especially new people. She’s only 19months or so, but she’d lived her whole life in a home with just one person. Sadly her owner passed away and it has taken some work to get her to come around. She now enjoys a groom and will always come to see you when you walk in. She would love nothing more than someone who will take the time to get to know her and perhaps spend some time at the sanctuary with her before they adopt. She would need to be the only cat in the house as she can be a bully to the others - especially since she’s never had to share before - she has also had very little experience with children and so an adult only home is preferred.

If you would like to offer some time to Missy or her that home she’s been looking for, please fill in an application

Pablo

Pablo is a beautiful girl who loves scratches and cuddles and absolutely will hog all of your attention. She would like a home where she doesn't have to share her owner as she can get quite bored of other cats stealing her spot light!

Tortie and Ginger

These two arrived at the sanctuary after both being abandoned together. They are very fond of each other and so we would like them to go together if possible. Tortie likes a stroke but still a little timid at times. Ginger on the other hand is very shy and he often uses Tortie as his sheild. He is getting used to people but needs some time - thankfully he is young and has a long life ahead to fall in love with his new family. Could that family be yours?

Tabby Kittens - 2 Pairs

These little guys came into the sanctuary late May at only 2 weeks old after they were found with their mother. Unfortunately, their mother was dead. They have been hand-reared and thankfully all have made it through healthy and happy and are now ready to find homes of their own. Please email office@crosskennanlane.org.uk if you're interested in rehoming and we will endeavor to get back to you asap.

Looking for a Broad of my Own!

There a few young roosters who would benefit from a brood of their own. Could you offer them a forever home?
