Daisy and Aphia

Aphia and Daisy have returned from grazing and are now looking for someone who could care for them, they are approximately 16 hh and around 15 years old. These stunning ladies adore to be spoilt, being groomed and lounging around and have a lot to love to give. Aphia and Daisy have both have ongoing issues with lameness and will only be rehomed as companion horses at this point in their lives. This lovely pair would love to have somewhere to call their own to live out the rest of their lives where they can be cared for and shown kindness and compassion. If you are interested and feel you have room for Aphia and Daisy

Tansy and Tama

Tansy and Tama are looking for a home, they are both miniature Shetland ponies approximately 10 years of age who have recently been returned to Crosskennan due to no fault of their own. Tansy and Tama are two lovely ladies who would like someone who can handle and groom them on a regular basis and give them the attention they deserve. These two girls due to their size are quite the pair of escape artists so escape proof fencing is a must! They require shelter and space to stretch their legs with very limited grazing as they are prone to putting on weight very quickly. Rehoming offers will only be accepted for this beautiful pair for companion ponies or pets as they are not being rehomed as riding ponies. If you feel you have room in your life for Tansy and Tama.

Lady

Can be groomed and is coming around to being caught more easily. Would benefit from a loving home to give her some one to one attention. Suffers from sweet itch but managed by lotions which she is happy having applied.

Tia

Tia has very recently arrived at Crosskennan to be cared for until she can be re-homed, this is through no fault of her own, but family circumstances. Tia has left a home environment and is now living in kennels at Crosskennan which she isn’t coping very well with. Tia is approximately a 4 year old beautifully natured dog who has previously lived with cats, another dog and children. She walks well on the lead, responds to simple commands, enjoys time to have a play and loves attention. Even though Tia is so well behaved it has become evident to staff that she is stressed living in kennels. At this time we are asking if there is anyone who would be willing to take Tia home on a long-term or even temporary basis until she finds her forever home. The usual re-homing process will still be followed to ensure Tia is going to a home that is suitable for her. She is still going through vet checks at this time however, the details and plans regarding this can be discussed with anyone willing to help out this beautiful pup. Anyone who is interested please contact us at crosskennan@hotmail.co.uk.

Tabby Kittens - Hand Reared - House Cats only (Need to go in Pairs!)

These little guys came into the sanctuary late May at only 2 weeks old after they were found with their mother. Unfortunately, their mother was dead. They have been hand-reared and thankfully all have made it through healthy and happy and are now ready to find homes of their own. Please email office@crosskennanlane.org.uk if you're interested in rehoming and we will endeavor to get back to you asap.

Looking for a Broad of my Own!

There a few young roosters who would benefit from a brood of their own. Could you offer them a forever home?
