Lockdown Diary

Day 13 of Lockdown

“Today I’m taking things easy - because it is Sunday. I know it’s been hard keeping track of days lately. Everything feels a little odd.

I’m taking each day at a time and making sure I have something to do each day, even if is just a walk.

Today I’m doing a little gardening, clearing the weeds to let the lovely spring flowers grow. Yesterday I did a full perimeter check and the day before I nipped down to the gate for my groceries from the delivery man. See, one thing a day keeps the mind active. It doesn’t need to be a big thing and you don’t have to go anywhere to do things.

When we do our bit others can do there’s and hopefully, things will get back to normal sooner rather than later.

So my learning for today, keep a routine and try and do one thing at least each day. Even if it’s just a walk around the garden or cleaning out the fridge. It’s good for our mental health!

And stay safe at home if you can and let those who need to work, work!”
