Elijah was surrendered alongside his mother Emily when their owner could not longer look after them due to their own health and age.

Rehabilitation

Emily and Elijah had been well loved but had only ever known one home and one person. Elijah had never saw a horse box and had never been haltered. Elijah kicks out when panicked and held, a lot of time and training was spent getting him to a point of handling and confidence with people.

Residency

Emily and Elijah would love a home together but while they wait for that perfect home with room and experience they spend their days on the yard with our resident donkeys and the Queen of Donkeys, Penny.
