Look no further than Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary's Learning Through Horses sessions. Tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals, these one-hour sessions offer a holistic approach to personal development, blending Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) techniques. What Can EAL and EAT Help With? Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy have been proven effective in addressing a wide range of personal and emotional challenges. From building self-awareness and improving communication skills to managing anxiety and fostering resilience, these sessions offer invaluable insights and tools for navigating life's complexities. How Does a Session Work? Each session begins with a sit-down discussion to identify your goals and intentions for the session. With the guidance of one of our experienced Equine Facilitated Interaction (EFI) facilitators, you'll then engage in hands-on interactions with our gentle horses and ponies. These interactions may include grooming, leading, or simple ground exercises, all designed to promote connection and self-discovery. Supporting the Sanctuary's Mission: Sessions are priced at £40 each, with discounts available for multiple bookings. Group session costs may vary depending on the size and nature of the group. It's important to note that all income from these sessions goes directly towards caring for the very horses and ponies with whom you'll be working. Your participation not only benefits your own personal growth but also supports the vital work of Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary in rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. Examples of Gains and Improvements: Participants in our Learning Through Horses programme have reported a wide range of insights and improvements, including: - Increased self-awareness and emotional intelligence - Improved communication and interpersonal skills - Recognition of the importance of self-care and self-responsibility - Reductions in anxiety and stress levels - Development of effective coping mechanisms - Mood enhancement and overall well-being Don't miss this opportunity to embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth.
