Our program offers two hours of exciting activities, learning, and fun for juniors ages 5-10. This non-ridden event focuses on building confidence and teaching children about the care and handling of horses. If your child has a passion for learning about horses while having a blast, look no further than our summer scheme! ABOUT the Summer Scheme: 🐴 Junior Sessions: Junior sessions provide hands-on experience in pony care, blended with fun-filled activities. From grooming to pony relay races, your child will learn basic skills while bonding with our wonderful equine residents. Plus, they'll explore their creative side through pony-themed arts and crafts. Make new friends and create lasting memories! What's Included: Grooming Equine Handling General Horse Care Pony Games Pony-Themed Educational Arts and Crafts Why Choose Us: Our dedicated volunteers and staff have a lifetime of experience with equines, ensuring a safe and enriching learning environment. From equine rescue and stable management to equine facilitated learning and children's therapy, we're passionate about education while supporting our sanctuary residents. Dates & Times: Tuesdays: July 16th, 23rd, 30th | August 6th, 13th, 20th 11:00am - 1:00pm Support a Worthy Cause: All proceeds from the summer scheme go towards the care and training of the horses and ponies on our site.
