"Bee-utification Workshop: Create a Bee Haven at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary"

Join us for a buzzing celebration as we honor our vital pollinators on World Bee Day!

• Bee House Bonanza: Roll up your sleeves and help us build cozy bee houses and insect hotels for solitary bees and other beneficial insects. Everyone will get the opportunity to make a bee block house to take home. We'll provide the materials and guidance for some wood working fun!
• Gardening and Planting: Get your hands dirty as we plant pollinator-friendly plants and herbs in our garden. Learn about the importance of these plants for bees and other insects. Guests are welcome to bring a small planter or pot of their own to sow out—one per guest to allow for seeds and plants to be shared equally.
• Picnic with Pollinators: Enjoy a delightful picnic in our front garden, surrounded by the charming company of our feathered friends. Our chickens can't wait to share the afternoon with you!
• Home Bee-utification Workshop: Learn how to create a bee-friendly habitat in your own backyard! Discover the secrets to transforming your home into a haven for bees and other pollinators.

Ticket Information:

£16 per adult (18+)

£10 per child (6-17)

Family tickets available at £40 for a family of 4 (2 adults/2 children)

Please note:

• All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Snacks and drinks will be provided, although guests are asked to bring their own 'picnic' lunch.
• All costs will go to cover any guest expenses for the event as well as contributing to helping care for the animals at the sanctuary.
