Behind the Barn Doors is a relaxed, small-group experience that invites you inside our rescue barn to spend unhurried time with some of the horses and ponies who call the sanctuary home.

Unlike a guided walking tour, there's no pressure to keep moving. Instead, you'll have the opportunity to slow down, meet our equine residents up close and discover their individual personalities in a calm and welcoming environment.

Throughout the experience you'll hear the remarkable rescue stories behind each horse, learn how they communicate, observe their friendships and spend time simply enjoying their company. Friendly horses may choose to come over for a fuss or gentle groom, while others may be perfectly content sharing the space beside you as they relax and enjoy their hay.
