Fun, friendship, and ponies – all summer long!
Join us at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary for our much-loved Pony Pals Summer Scheme — a series of fun, hands-on sessions where children can spend time with our ponies, learn new skills, and enjoy the peaceful sanctuary setting.

Join us for a fun, hands-on pony experience at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary! This session includes grooming, stable care, games, creative activities, and equine-themed learning, all in a safe and supportive environment. Perfect for ages 5–12. No experience needed — just enthusiasm and suitable footwear! Children will be in the care of trained staff/volunteers for the duration of the session. Please bring a packed lunch/snack and water bottle. Helmets provided where required.

This ticket adds a supervised ridden session to your child’s Pony Pals Summer Scheme day at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary. The ridden add-on runs from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM on selected Wednesdays and includes basic saddle skills, leading, and a short ride (on lead rein). Riders will be assessed by our team and may come off the lead rein depending on ability and confidence. Only 6 spaces available per date. Must be booked alongside the morning session
