We are running our summer scheme, partially funded by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, in August 2020. It is taking a slightly different look than we had originally planned due to COVID-19 but we have measures in place to work with this.

So if you have a horse mad child, or a child who has an interest in volunteering or animals in general - why not sign them up. Open to children aged 9 to 13 years of age.

11:15 start at the Sanctuary.

Health and Safety Followed by a tour.

Introduction to Equines.

Handling and grooming time.

Break for Lunch 12:40 approx. 20 mins for lunch

Some Crafts and Cat cuddles in the Cabin

2:30pm Home Time

More Dates will be added if people are interested. 

This project is partially sponsored by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. A £5 donation is asked for to help cover the extra costs of the project.
