Welfare is at the heart of everything we do – a commitment that has seen Crosskennan involved in several large scale rescues during our 25-year history. Each individual animal has a story to tell, and helping an animal that has suffered at the hands of humans and supporting them through their journey to recovery is one of the most rewarding aspects of our work.

Every one of our rescued residents has a story to tell. Helping an animal in need and seeing their journey to recovery is one of the most rewarding aspects of our work, but sadly not every story has a happy ending. Some of our rescue stories are upsetting, but we feel it is important to tell them and recognise those we have lost as well as those we have saved.
