đ Family Volunteer Day at the Sanctuary! đ
Calling all animal-loving families! Are you eager to learn more about horses and ponies while lending a helping hand? Join us for a memorable Family Volunteer Day at our sanctuary. Here's what you can expect:
đ Date: Saturday, April 20th, 2024 đŚ Time: 11:30am - 2:30pm
đż Activities Include:
Helping with Sanctuary Chores: Spend the first hour assisting with the daily tasks and chores around the sanctuary.
Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in either our charming front chicken garden or the barn (in case of wet weather).
Guided Tour: Explore the sanctuary with a short tour around the yard and get to meet some of our lovely animals.
Pony Grooming and Games: Conclude the day by spending time with our ponies, grooming them, and participating in pony games.
đ° Donation: A ÂŁ40 donation is kindly requested for a family of four to contribute towards the costs of caring for our animals. This donation helps us continue our mission of providing love and care to all our residents.
𼤠Provided by Sanctuary: Each volunteer will receive a snack and treat, as well as a bottle of water.
đą Picnic Lunch: Please note that the sanctuary will not provide picnic lunch. Families are encouraged to bring their own lunch for the picnic.
đ¨âđŠâđ§âđŚ Minimum Age: Participants must be at least 6 years old to join this event. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. For families with two children under 14, two adults are required to accompany them. (some exceptions can be made if all children are under 14 but over 10; if unsure please email the team).
