Hard to believe we are already in February 2024! Where did January go? You know what, with all that snow and those storms maybe it's a good thing it didnt last too long! Now in the shortest month of the year - we are bringing you actuon from start to finish!
The team at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary have been busy planning and sharing both within and outside the sanctuary. With a focus on raising funds to cover ongoing costs and reigniting community projects, several exciting events and fundraisers have been lined up for this month.
One of the fundraisers, organized by Pat from Bark N Beauty, has already gained attention. The Bark N Beauty Raffle Draw offers participants a chance to win fantastic prizes donated by various local businesses. Entries for this raffle can be purchased directly from Pat in cash or via PayPal at Pat.whitsitt@yahoo.co.uk - please select friends and family when paying! The draw is scheduled to take place in just one week, so be sure to get your entries in on time!
Another upcoming event, the Valentines Groom, promises a magical experience for you and your special someone. Immerse yourselves in the love and gentle presence of rescued equine residents at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary. With grooming sessions and refreshments, this event is guaranteed to create cherished memories. Tickets for the Valentines Groom can be purchased through the sanctuary's website.
Looking ahead, the sanctuary has more in store for its supporters. Events such as Pets for Pensioners and Coffee, Cats, and Chat are coming soon and will be open for booking. These events provide opportunities for the community to engage with the sanctuary's animals and support its cause.
Additionally, the sanctuary has organized a photography tour, allowing both professional and amateur photographers to capture the magic within its premises. Booking for this exclusive Open Photography Tour is available on the sanctuary's website.
To further raise funds, the sanctuary is holding a Cosy Night In Hamper Raffle. A delightful collection of goodies awaits the lucky winner, offering the perfect ingredients for a cozy evening. Tickets for this raffle can be purchased on the sanctuary's website or during any of the events happening in February.

BELFAST GIANTS TICKET AUCTION!
One of our very kind supporters has offered us 6 x Belfast Giant tickets to any home game to auction off. Starting at £60 - tickets will be sold to the highest bidder - and all proceeds will go to the sanctuary. A QR code will be provided to the winner. Finally (as of this update) - Mark your calendars for the Eggscellent Easter Pony Party on March 23rd. This event promises pony rides, creative activities, an exciting Easter egg hunt, and more. Tickets can be secured through the sanctuary's website.
